Happy Birthday John

Today would have been John Lennon's 67th birthday.

He was a great man, a man of love and peace. He will forever be missed by those who loved not only his music, but the man himself.

I never got to meet him, but I feel like I always knew him. His music will live forever.

There are places I remember all my life,
Though some have changed,
Some forever, not for better,
Some have gone and some remain.

All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall.
Some are dead and some are living.
In my life I've loved them all.

But of all these friends and lovers,
There is no one compares with you,
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new.

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before,
I know I'll often stop and think about them,
In my life I'll love you more.

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before,
I know I'll often stop and think about them,
In my life I'll love you more.
In my life I'll love you more.

We all hope you have a wonderful birthday, John. Wherever you might be.
