The Red Sox announced today that Jim Rice, who will be inducted in the Hall of Fame on Sunday (broadcast on the MLB Network and looking forward to it), will have his number 14 join the other six numbers on the right field facade the Sox have retired with a ceremony on Tuesday night before the game with the Oakland A's.Congratulations, Jim Ed. A well-deserved honor.
