Happy Birthday Paul McCartney

Back when he was 16, Paul McCartney wrote a song for his dad, which he revived some eight years later for the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album. Well, today, Paul can truly sing "When I'm 64," as this is is his 64th birthday.

Happy Birthday Paul, and may you have many more than 64.

Also, Happy Father's Day to all the dads of the world.

You never told me you are a BEATLES fan. I am the biggest. Many people can claim that, but I am proud of loving them even before Capital records refused to release any of their singles until I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND, in early '64, just weeks after JFK, and days before Ed Sullivan. A big part of my then young life, Take care. I wrote a Dad's Day post. I THINK it's pretty good. If ya have a minute, that woud be great. Enjoy the day.

Peter: I've been a Beatles fan since the night they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 (although I was only two at the time). My parents remember my sisters and I dancing to the show that night. A lifetime love affair was born that night.
