Finally. Justice.

On the 13th anniversary of the day he slithered away from justice as 12 boneheads set him free, O.J. Simpson, America's favorite pariah, was convicted in a Las Vegas courtroom on 12 counts, 11 of the felonies, of charges ranging from kidnapping and armed robbery over an incident in a Las Vegas hotel back in September 2007.

(Does anyone with a half a brain REALLY think that this jackass was an innocent man caught in an LAPD frame-up anymore, and that Simpson wasn't a rich slimebag who bought his way out of an obvious murder conviction?)

I couldn't help but think of Al Capone when the subject of the disgraced Hall of Fame running back is concerned. The government couldn't get Capone on murder charges back in the 1930s, but nailed him on tax evasion charges. They couldn't nail Simpson on murder charges back in 1995, but now he's looking at 5 years to life on these charges, and he was convicted on all of them. He'll be sentenced on December 5. Here's more on the verdict.

Funny, I didn't any outcry over his conviction. And I guess this will short-circuit his lifetime quest to find his murdered ex-wife's "real killers." And it will keep him off golf courses all over America as well.

Life has a funny way of getting even in the end.
