Matsui: The Son of Shemp?

My friend Adam has always thought
that Hideki Matsui of the Yankees reminds him so much of Shemp Howard, the legendary member of The Three Stooges. He routinely calls the Yankee outfielder, "Shemp."

So, were they separated at birth, or was Hideki the illegitimate Japanese son of the legendary Stooge?

So, what do you think? In the immortal words of the Fox News Channel, "We report, you decide."

One thing is for sure:

Matsui was NOT born in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn;

Oh, but that hair is a "Shemp Do";

& Shemp was born in BRighton Beach, along the BMT Brighton Line.

Hiya, Q :)

I don't see the Shemp thing, except of course with the hair. But then again, in the words of the immortal Sam Malone, "Chicks hate the Stooges. They think they're stupid."

As a chick, I wholeheartedly concur.

Thanks for dropping by TRS...I do see the Shemp thing with the hair and Matsui's chunky face...

I got a kick out of The Stooges when I was a kid, and I've always heard that about women despising them...To each his or her own, TRS...

I see it not only in the hair, but in the nose. As a matter of fact, I see it in the hair IN his nose. N'Yuk, N'Yuk, N'Yuk!
