The Red Sox claimed reliever Taylor Buchholz off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays yesterday. And yes, he's related to Clay, as he confirmed with Nick Cafardo last season that they are distant cousins.Too bad Horst (pictured) isn't still around, as the Sox could have gotten him on the payroll somehow and made it a Buchholz Hat Trick.
