My good friend and jazz pianist Alex Minasian has just begun a YouTube page of some of his best performances, and it's a page definitely worth checking out.
Alex is a really talented piano player who has been playing with the legendary jazz vocalist Jimmy Scott for a few years now. (Alex and I first met during Professor Thom's Trivia Night before I hosted it, and we won the competition on a few occasions.) He's on his way up to the top of the jazz world.
Here is one of Alex's fine performances, playing with Billy Vera on "At This Moment" at the House of Blues in Los Angeles for Jimmy Scott's 85th birthday celebration:
