Teaching Those College Boys a Lesson

It's now 21 straight over Boston College, as the Red Sox cruised to a 6-0 win over the Eagles at Ft. Myers today. The Red Sox pitchers allowed just one hit, in the seventh inning, and Kevin Youkilis hit a three-run home run in his first at-bat in the first inning.

The first of many wins in 2011.

UPDATE (8:55 PM): The Red Sox came from behind to whip Northeastern in the second game of the twin bill at Ft. Myers, 13-2, erasing a 2-0 lead by the college guys in the fourth inning.

Bring on the pros.
