On The Other Hand...

Well, so much for a deal that just about done, and checking the medical records just being a formality.

The trade the Red Sox made last night to acquire Rich Harden fell through, as the Red Sox were not convinced after seeing his medical files that the oft-injured pitcher wouldn't stay healthy the rest of 2011.

The Sox needed to look at the medical records to know Harden is injury-prone? Wouldn't a short google search have confirmed that before discussing a deal?
