The New Magic Number

The Red Sox now have an eight game lead in the American League East, thanks to the Detroit Tigers thrashing of the Yankees at Comerica Park on Monday night, 16-0. (Thanks to my friend Adam for the picture.)

Great new look...the sky is stunning! The first step these next 2 days and one afternoon in the burning Bronx (final episode tonight) will be to beat Pettitte, one of 'their' two effective pitchers. Clemens is NOT included in that statement. Can you say .500??

It... Is... OVER.

If it turns out that it isn't, I'll have killed myself, so I'm not worried about making such a bold prediction :-)

I love that shot of Fenway, Q. Very beautiful.

Thanks for stopping by, Anthony. Thanks also for the kind words. Don't know if I'll ever do a wrestling blog, but I like the idea of "Turnbuckle!" Is it sung by George (The Animal) Steele, my favorite wrestler of all-time?

I know you wouldn't make such a bold prediction, Suldog, if you weren't sure. I won't utter those words until the day the Yankees are eliminated. I'm just funny that way...
