Vino For a Good Cause

My friends over at Longball Cellars are releasing two more Red Sox player wines that benefits charity, and this time features two of the newest mainstays of the Red Sox rotation: Clay Buchholz and Jon Lester.

Both wines will go for $14 a piece, and the players will forward all profits to charity.

For Clay, it will go to the Jimmy Fund. Clay's wine is called "ChardonClay."

For Jon, his profits will go the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. His wine is called "CabernAce."

The wines will be available this coming May. Retailers can place their orders now. They can be purchased online at www.charitywines.com.

There will be a launch party for the wines on May 11th following the Red Sox afternoon game that day at the Foundation Room at House of Blues on Lansdowne Street. The lovely and talented Heidi Watney will emcee the festivities.

The Red Sox player-themed wines have been very successful in the past, and these sound like a winner once again.
