Happy Birthday George

Today would have been the 64th birthday of one of the great legends of rock'n'roll. A man who is much missed, George Harrison.

It's hard to believe that George has been gone for over five years now. He made a body of music, with the Beatles and as a solo artist, that will be enjoyed by music fans from now until time comes to an end. He is truly in a category of music immortals with legends like Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, George Gershwin and Frank Sinatra.

I know God has rewarded you, George. You were a truly spiritual man who gave millions of people, including myself, countless hours of joy.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday.

2/25/43...HOW DID I MISS THIS! Thank you so much...the best of everything is right here on your blog. And I thank you.
Oh, the reason I wrote (the other reason). Do you remember the NY Daily News article about some Damon quotes that mentioned the word "idiot' when in fact JD NEVER uttered that particular word?? Well, the author of that article emailed me and explained that in no way was he responsible for the title of his good piece. See my blog for my admission of error...I mentioned it in my today post too, I think. Take care Q!!!Peter

Thanks for the kind words as always, Peter.

I know that writers of newspaper articles don't write the headline, as most papers have separate people who do that. But I still had problems with certain facts he left out of his article.

Cool that he took the time to write to you about it. You're getting out there, Peter!
