We had 17 teams in for Trivia last night, as the crowds continue to grow as we enter the summer. Thanks to all of you for the continued support! We had something unusual happen last night, something I've never seen happen at a Trivia Night before. Our friends from DIMS were having another stellar evening, but they were matched with the same scores with the team of Red Card For Red Hen for the first four rounds. (They both got only one question wrong through those rounds, one in the "Canada Trivia" round!) And both teams were sitting next to each other in the bar! But IQ Trivia is where the sea parted, as Red Card For Red Hen got the win, getting 4 of 5 correct in the final round for 50 points and the win. Congratulations to them on their first ever win. DIMS finished tied with Ready to Go, Eh? with 45 points, and they won the tie breaker question to finish in second place. (What is Canada's population as of 2017? It was 35.1 million.)

For Our Neighbors to the North
Trivia will be happening this Tuesday night, June 26th at 8:30 PM,
with "Canada Trivia" as the Special Category, in honor of next Sunday
being the national holiday of our neighbors to the north (Canada Day).
It will be seven questions connected to the great nation of Canada in
history, pop culture, etc. The Q Train lightning round will be "Name the
Decade Trivia." I will give you ten events and you have to tell me
which decade (mostly in the 20th century) that event occurred in. And every answer will be a different decade.
The Sneak Peek question for this week is:
"The beer festival of Oktoberfest is celebrated in what German city?"
The crowds are starting to pick up as we get into the summer, so get in early to get a good table. I look forward to seeing many of you this Tuesday night for another great night of Trivia!

Trivia Returns With Final Jeopardy Q&A
Trivia Night returns after last week's hiatus this Tuesday night,
June 12th at 8:30 PM, with "Final Jeopardy Potpourri Trivia" as the
Special Category. It will be seven questions that have appeared as the
final question on the legendary game show "Jeopardy!" over the years,
and it will be on various topics (hence the "potpourri" in the title).
And don't worry, you don't have to put your answers in the form of a
question. The Q Train lightning round will be "Red, White and Blue
Flags Trivia." In honor of Flag Day later this week, I will give you
the names of ten countries from around the world, and you have to tell
me whether that country has red, white and blue in its nation's flag.
The Sneak Peek question for this week is:
"What is the stretch of water between Russia and Alaska called?"
Looking forward to seeing many of you this Tuesday night for what should be a great night of Trivia Q&A!
