At .500 For The 125th Time This Year

A convincing 9-2 win over Texas and Yu Darvish last night by the Red Sox.

Aaron Cook was superb: one run over seven innings, as his sinker was sinking.

The top of the lineup (Jacoby Ellsbury, Carl Crawford, Dustin Pedroia and Adrian Gonzalez) carried the offense, with 8 RBI, 7 runs scored and 8 doubles.

Two straight wins. Back to .500 yet again.

Is this team ready for a "run"? Yeah, I know, we've been down this road before. Too many times.

Owner John Henry came out in support of Bobby Valentine yesterday. Why do the words "kiss of death" ring in my ears right now?
