Finally!

The long national nightmare has finally come to an end.

And to a happy one at that.

Today I ordered the MLB Extra Innings package, as Cablevision finally reached an agreement with In Demand on a deal to bring it to their cable subscribers. They are only a month late with this, as Comcast and Time Warner made their deals just as the season was beginning.

Fortunately, there is a special deal if you get the package now, as they took $40 off the regular price. So now at least I can watch those Red Sox games at home without having to trek into Manhattan so often, and watch plenty of late night baseball from the West Coast almost every night. When I got home tonight, in addition to the Mets game in San Francisco, I was able to see the Pirates-Cubs game that went to 15 innings at Wrigley Field.

Oh, what a pleasure. So glad to have it back.

I'm happy for you! Good luck with a slight lack of sleep. SLIGHT. But that's priceless.

Thanks, Peter. There are just certain things in life you need...even at the cost of sleep.
