Guess Who's in the AL East Basement?

Yep, it's the New York Yankees, who find themselves in last place today after losing to the first-place Tampa Bay Rays, 5-2, on Thursday afternoon at the Trop.

But wow, the first-place Rays? They are one game in front of the Red Sox as I write this, as they beat up on Ian (Where Do You Want It?) Kennedy once again.

I know, I know. It's May 16th, and there's still about 120 games left in the season.

But how I do enjoy writing "New York Yankees" and "last place" in the same sentence.

Too bad it won't stay this way, but enjoy it while it lasts.

True but the idea of Hank going bezerk, steam out of the ears is such a pleasant thought.

Nice to see The Rays have hope after all those years of struggling.
