Will We Finally Have Flying Cars In 5 Years?

It was 25 years ago today that Marty McFly took a fateful ride in Doc Brown's DeLorean and landed back in time to 1955. He returned back to 1985 and then went ahead another thirty years.

So, are those flying cars finally going to become a reality? The clock is ticking.

On the same day 25 years ago, Don Denkinger made one of the worst calls in the history of the World Series, calling Jorge Orta of the Kansas City Royals safe at first, and it propelled the Kansas City Royals to a ninth inning win in Game 6, and they won their first and only title the next night, 11-0 over the St. Louis Cardinals. (The Cardinals became so unglued after the Game 7 loss that they destroyed all the toilets in the visitors clubhouse, and it would take another 21 years before the won another World Series.)

Happy Anniversary, Marty.

And you too, Don.
