The Red Sox continued their offseason of adding guys with high upside and low risk by signing veteran 1B/OF Brad Wilkerson to a minor-league contract. He split time last season between Seattle and Toronto, hitting .220. If he makes the MLB roster, he will make the major league minimum of $400,000, but incentives could bring him up to $1.5 million.
