Moussaoui Gets Life

The jury in the Zacarias Moussaoui trial in Virginia has recommended life imprisonment without parole, and not the death penalty, in his case.

Moussaoui's life is spared.

He gets to rot in jail for the rest of his life and think of himself as a hero.

Dammit.

he'll suffer a lot more in jail than he would in the chair. Now even the paedophiles in prison will have someone below them on the getting raped and beaten scale. He'll soon enough be wishing he'd got the death penalty.

I think it's a more suitable punishment to leave him to suffer that way anyway. He won't get to be a martyr through death and the state won't have to kill someone in cold blood to punish them for killing in cold blood.

Since he'll be so ISOLATED, it'll break him into revealing the names of more terrorists.

Then, again, he just may end up offing himself.
