9/9 Trivia on Tuesday

This Tuesday, Trivia Night will have as its special category, "September 9th Trivia." It will questions about people and events that are tied to that day. The Q Train lightning round will have as its category another round of "Spell the Word Trivia."

The Sneak Peek question for this week is:
What is the second longest river in the world?

The Red Sox are playing the current AL East leaders, the Tampa Bay Rays, on Tuesday night from Fenway, so this is a big series. We may have a big crowd in for it, but we should get going at the regular time of 9 PM. Hope you can make it in.

You ran, on the top of the blog, my favorite Billy Joel song..Summer Highland Falls, although there are many runners-up. If you haven't heard the Billy album (CD) SONGS FROM THE ATTIC, released in '83 (give or take one year), there is a wonderful live version of it. In fact, the entire album was recorded live in 48 track stereo. I love it. It's old, but it gets better with every listen.

Oh, Jon Lester was great last night, and I hope Daisuke can make it 2 in a row. And then Josh will show his dominance on Wednesday. I'm scared that we have 7 games left with the Jays...but we're IN the playoffs...we just want first place. Thanks John.

I added you to my blogger "follower" list, and it works, even though I'm not sure how. See ya John. Oh, I had gotten every Sox trivia answer right after the first (Mueller's average) until today (numbers on the uniforms). It's a fun widget!

I saw the "Followers" widget on the dashboard, Peter. Thanks for subscribing to mine. I just put the widget up as well.

I listened to "Turnstiles" the other day and love that song, so I put the quote up. I also like "Songs From the Attic," especially "She's Got a Way."

Lester was superb last night, and let's hope first place is just around the corner!
