Fenway PA Announcer Carl Beane Dies In Car Crash

I was shocked and saddened to hear that Carl Beane, the Red Sox public address announcer, was killed on Wednesday in a single-car accident in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. He was 59 years old.

Mr. Beane was the Red Sox PA announcer since 2003. I didn't know him personally, but he was a friend of mine on Facebook.
