The Detroit Tigers are about to sign Red Sox catcher Victor Martinez to a four-year, $50 million deal, according to ESPN Boston.
I guess Theo Epstein will put Plan B into effect for the catching position.
I still don't see Jarrod Saltalamacchia as the number one guy next year. Stay tuned.
And the Mets have named Terry Collins as their new manager. A guy who quit on three teams on two continents. I don't have a good feeling about this.

I just heard this before I arrived here at your blog site. I hope they spend the money on AG. Youk at third and another catcher with a bullpen fix are still needed. Oy vei.
