A Warning To All Cell Phone Users

I got an email this morning from Dennis McKeon of WhereToTurn.org that in the next few days that all cell phone numbers will be turned over to telemarketers, and that you will be charged for these calls. So it is imperative that if you want to avoid these unsolicited calls, you must again register on the National Do Not Call list.

It is very easy to do, and takes about a minute. Just call 1-888-382-1222, or go to the web site at www.donotcall.gov. You will be registered on the list for five years.

It's worth it to keep these pests away.

this info has been circling for over a year now. I first got an email telling me that the numbers were about to go over to telemarketers last summer and have yet to receive any calls. I'm sure they'll probably do it eventually though

Consider yourself lucky my friend! The Communication Workers of America informed Dennis about this just a few days ago, so I guess something is about to happen with the cell phone numbers.
