It's the Red Sox vs. the Detroit Tigers for the championship of the American League, starting tomorrow night at the Fens.
Here's what we know so far:
Game 1: October 12th at Fenway Park, 8:07 PM ET, Jon Lester vs. Anibal Sanchez
Game 2 : October 13th at Fenway Park, 8:07 PM ET, Clay Buchholz vs. Max Scherzer
Game 3: October 15th at Comerica Park, 4:07 PM ET, John Lackey vs. Justin Verlander
Game 4: October 16th at Comerica Park, 8:07 PM ET, Jake Peavy vs. Doug Fister
Game 5: October 17th at Comerica Park (if necessary), 8:07 PM ET, Pitchers TBA
Game 6: October 19th at Fenway Park (if necessary), 4:30 PM ET (8:07 PM if the NLCS is over), Pitchers TBA
Game 7: October 20th at Fenway Park (if necessary), 8:07 PM, Pitchers TBA
Tigers won the season series, 4-3. The Red Sox will go with the same 25-man roster they went with in the ALDS. Should be a terrific ALCS. I like the Red Sox in 6.
