We had 17 teams in Professor Thom's for Trivia Night on Tuesday, which was a good turnout, as I was concerned that the holiday weekend could hurt the number of folks coming in, but my fears were unfounded. The scores for Current Events and General Knowledge were actually on the lower side, while Mob Movies Trivia and Spell the Word were better.
The rounds were pretty close throughout, but going into IQ Trivia we had six teams separated by just two points. The scores in IQ Trivia were lower than usual, as the questions this week were a bit more difficult. Only two teams got as many as four of the five correct, but one of them was Table One, who was in second place going into the round. The 16 points they rolled up was good for first place by five points.
Congratulations to Tara and her crew for their second ever Trivia Night title, and their first without having to go to a tie-breaker. Nice job, guys.
