He's adopted Hankenstein as a member of Red Sox Nation.
Henry sent him a membership card "giving him access to an array of options including our newsletter, bumper stickers, pins, Green Monster seats and a hat personally autographed by David Ortiz."

Hank gave plenty of new material for comedy writers everywhere.
ReplyDeleteJohn Henry had a laugh and did a perfect capper by bringing Hank into The Nation.
Hank's mania has made me laugh harder than I have in a long time.
Keep at it, jagoff
It's been a while since we've had a Steinbrenner to laugh at. Should be a fun summer.
ReplyDeleteSaw this story first thing this morning and have been telling anyone who'll listen about it all day long. I don't think John Henry could possibly have come up with a better response. There's a guy from Boston among the crew of regulars at the bagel shop I frequent. We shared a long laugh when I relayed the story and look forward to years of entertainment from Lil' Hanky.
ReplyDeleteYou know what would be fun?
ReplyDeleteA Media Machine Pool of when Hank's first eruption of The regular season will be!!
or when will Cashman be fired? Girardi get canned??
The back pages of the Post and Daily News just found their go to guy!!
Not a bad idea, Steel. Before the season begins, I may put up my first poll to find out when Hankee's first meltdown happens...
ReplyDeleteJohn Henry is my hero, Sosock...
Hankme Steinstein has no sense of humor:
ReplyDeleteI wonder if some imaginary "Fan" will punch him in an elevator?
Hank Hankensteinbrenner has been added to "The Riviera List":
ReplyDeleteThe word beginning with "F", shall precede his name.
Yes, perfect. Nothing will piss off your enemy more readily than welcoming him with open arms into a fraternity he has dissed. I love it.
ReplyDeleteHenry's playing it SO perfect, Suldog. And I read in the papers today that Boss Dimwit says he doesn't understand what all the controversy is about with what he said.
ReplyDeleteA total Clueless Putz. And the Yankees and their fans are stuck with him.
