We had another fine turnout with 12 teams and a crowd really into last night's Trivia. The scores were rather low the first two rounds, as this might have been another night I made the Trivia a bit harder than I thought. But the scores picked up in the following rounds. The boys from DIMS had another terrific night, getting all five correct in IQ Trivia and walking away with 51 points and convincing win. Congrats to Michael, Ken and Derek on another great win.
But in all my years doing Trivia, something happened last night that never happened before. We had a four-way tie for second place! The teams of Liverwurst Club, My Neck, My Back, Eat My Tide Pod Snack, Probing Sessions and Shut Up the Government & Shut Down the Super Bowl all finished with 36 points, so we had a tie breaker question to determine second and third places. "How many total Grammy nominations do Jay-Z and Kanye West have combined in their careers?" The answer is 128, as they both have 64. Probing Sessions was closest in their guess, and finished second, and Liverwurst Club was next closest, and finished third.
