A New Trivia Era Begins Tomorrow at Foley's

On Sunday night, we begin a new era in my Trivia Night as we will debut at Foley's NY Pub and Restaurant, which is located at 18 West 33rd Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues, at 7 PM.

It will be every Sunday at 7 PM, and it will be the same format that many of you have been at my Trivia Night have known and loved: 5 categories, 2 special categories (including "The Q Train" lightning round), with the staple categories of General Knowledge, Current Events and IQ Trivia.

The prizes will be similar as well. $50 gift certificate to the pub for the winners, $20 gift certificate for second, and a pitcher of beer for third place. We'll also have a pitcher for the Best Team Name.

We will kick off out inaugural night at Foley's with "Presidential Trivia" as the Special Category, in honor of this being Presidents Day weekend. It will seven questions about the men who have occupied the highest office in the land. The Q Train lightning round will be "States' Largest City Trivia," as I will give you 10 US states, and you will tell me what the current largest city in population there is.

The Sneak Peek question for this week is:
"The rover called Sojourner explored what planet in 1997?"

We get started at 7 PM. The phone number for Foley's is 212-290-0080. It's one of New York's finest sports bars, across from the Empire State Building, and now Trivia has returned there as well. It's going to be a bit chilly tomorrow night, but I hope to see many of you then!
