Trivia Night at the Caledonia Scottish Pub on Tuesday, September 23rd will feature "Three of Five Trivia." I will ask you seven general knowledge questions, and each question you will have to name at least three out of five to get one point. If you get 4 of 5, you get an extra point, and if you get all five correct, you get two bonus points. So you can roll up points if you know your stuff. The questions will be like this: "Name 3 of the last 5 NBA champions." (That won't be a question I will ask tomorrow night, but you get the idea.)
BTW, you might be wondering why I have a picture of Derek Lowe celebrating in this post. That was when he saved the final game of the 2003 ALDS for the Red Sox against Oakland. So, the Red Sox won that series by taking "three of five." Sorry, that was the best I could do to find an appropriate photo for this post.
The Q Train lightning round will be "True or False Trivia."
The Sneak Peek question for this week is:
"What is the common nickname for nitrous oxide?"
We'll get going at 8 PM. The Caledonia is at 1609 2nd Avenue, between E. 83rd and 84th Streets. We've been getting some really good crowds as of late, so let's keep that momentum going. Hope to see many of you on Tuesday night!
