46 Years To Lose 90

On October 27, 2004, most Red Sox fans saw something they had never seen happen in their lifetime: their team won a World Series.

And, on September 30, 2012, most Red Sox fans saw something they had never seen happen in their lifetime: their team lost 90 games.

It's the first time they have lost 90 games since they went 72-90 in 1966. They will have to sweep New York just to match that.

69-90 with 3 games in the Bronx left.

The Orioles and Yankees are tied after 159 games, and the Sox will have a big say on who will be the American League East champions for this season.

And hopefully after Wednesday night's finale, we get our team back.
