We had 22 teams in on Trivia Night on Tuesday, which included my old friend Renee and a close friend of hers forming a team. I appreciate seeing old friends come in, as well as the newer ones. It was also a night when the team names were really off the wall, and many involved the loony Congressman from Missouri or Republican vice-presidential hopeful Paul Ryan.
I was surprised that the numbers for Pop Music Trivia weren't better than they were, as I didn't think I made them particularly difficult. The only category we had any perfect scores in were in the Colleges and Universities Trivia, and six teams did that.
Two teams got 4 of 5 correct in IQ Trivia, and they both finished first and second overall. (We also had the rare occurrence of the team in first place going into IQ Trivia finished outside of the top five.) First place went to Missouri, Now the Show-Me An Asshole Politician State won by the slimmest of margins with 44 points. Second place went to Same Name Every Time with 43 points. Third place was taken by I Traded My Zucchini For a Cucumber with 39 points.
