At Least They Didn't Blow a Halftime Lead

The Minnesota Vikings took on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in a battle of 0-3 teams. Something had to give, unless the game ended in a tie.

No such luck.

Adrian Peterson never could get going, as he rushed for only 80 yards. Ryan Succop kicked five field goals for KC, and tied the team record for the longest field goal, at 54 yards. A 22-17 loss.

The Vikings are 0-4 for the first time since 2002.

There are now only two undefeated teams left in the NFL, and naturally they are both in the NFC North: Green Bay and Detroit.

A long year continues to get even longer.
