Does "The Winner" Really Own The Babe's Ring?

Everyone knows what a circus Charlie Sheen's life has become since he took to the airwaves and decided to go after everyone who has done him wrong in the whole "Two and a Half Men" mess.

My friend Pete Nash has a really good article at Deadspin about Tiger Blood's claim that he owns Babe Ruth's 1927 World Series ring. Sheen is a big memorabilia collector, and once owned the infamous ball that Mookie Wilson hit that ended Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. With all his trouble and rehab stints, he sold off most of his collection, but held on to the Ruth ring.

Ruth's descendants don't believe it's the genuine article.

It very well maybe Ruth's ring, but Sheen claims to have gotten it from the now-disgraced collection of Barry Halper, who Pete has chronicled in the past at his Hauls of Shame web site.

  1. yah when I heard him say he had Tiger Blood in him....I thought perhaps he and Woods shared a harem together.
If he has the Babe's ring....it'll be the only "Babe" he has cos those gals in his house are not
