Another fine article from Hauls of Shame recently went up about the crumbling reputation of the late Barry Halper, and this one is about what appears to be a fake Babe Ruth autograph (pictured) on his famous "500 Home Runs Sheet," which includes the autographs of many of those players who reached the famous plateau (up until Reggie Jackson).
This article is quite interesting to read, especially Halper trying to get Jackson to sign the sheet in 1984.
Pete Nash continues some excellent work exposing the frauds that have been pervasive in the collectibles industry of baseball.
