The Red Sox continued their bullpen reconstruction today as they have reportedly signed former Rays reliever Dan Wheeler.
The Red Sox signed him to a one year deal with the 33-year-old Rhode Island native, for $3 million, with an option for 2012. Although Wheeler was a Type A free agent, the Red Sox lose no draft picks, as he was declined arbitration by the Rays.
