Howie Spira's Former Best Friend Dies

George Steinbrenner died of a massive heart attack at the age of 80.

    Stienbrenner was a champion.
    A champion election law violator.
    A champion blackmailer.
    A champion best friend of Howie Spira.
    A good Candidate for the Baseball Hall of Shame.
    "One's a liar the other's convicted." To quote Billy Martin.
    The convicted one was Stienbrenner.
