We had just eight teams for Trivia Night on Tuesday, as the presidential debate kept many people away, and presumably home in front of their TVs. I didn't know ahead of time, but the debate was on in the bar, and above in The Loft as well. (We kept the sound on as we played, and it wasn't a distraction at all.)
The numbers overall were pretty good throughout the night, as I think I may have made some of the questions a bit too easy. But it was very close throughout, and we had five of the eight within two points of the lead going into the IQ Trivia round. The leader going into that round, Iconoclasts, ran the table and got 20 points and wound up the winners, and took the title by 10 points. Congratulations to Rob and his friends on a great win.
I want to let all of you know that next week, Trivia Night will move over to Wednesday, October 15th at 9 PM, as the Red Sox-Rays ALCS Game 4 will be on Tuesday, and the bar will be packed, so Trivia has to move. But it will be just for next week only, as it will go back to Tuesday the next week. I also discovered that the next presidential debate will be next Wednesday as well, but it will again be broadcast in the bar (with the sound), so I hope many of you can come out and catch the debate as well as play Trivia next Wednesday.
