I was watching the Red Sox game last night, when field reporter Heidi Watney was chatting with actor Michael Chiklis, star of the TV series "The Shield." He's also a huge Red Sox fan, and she asked him about villains on TV. He came out with a great line:
"I don't dislike any person, place or thing. But God, do I hate the Yankees!"
I guess the Yankees don't qualify as a person, place or thing.
Two championships this decade haven't mellowed Mr. Chiklis, or me, for that matter.
The hatred never ends.
