Matt Damon made a memorable appearance on "The Late Show With David Letterman" last night, wearing a David Ortiz Red Sox jersey and supporting The Nation. He and Dave always go at it good when it comes to the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry on the show. Matt got in a few cool jabs at the Yankees and their current struggles. I didn't see it live, as I was at Professor Thom's last night watching the Red Sox in action after Trivia Night concluded, but I heard that he was funny in his guest appearance.
My thanks to Frank at the BLOHARDS for sending along the YouTube video of last night's show.
Love that Damon. THAT Damon, note.
ReplyDeleteSo, a tough loss again tonight, but it's okay, for a flip over to SciFI, and it's the Talking Tina episode!
Wicked Awesome!! Matt Damon is a Sox fan, (check) talented actor, (check) and really gorgeous, (double check) What's not to love?
ReplyDeleteThe Ortiz jersey-that is chutzpah.
"10 more of those and you'll be in second place" heh
"Roger Clemens pitched for us 40 years ago when he was 20." ROFL
Nice. Although he was a prick in "The Departed, he'd so much easier to tolerate as a spokesman for the nation than Ben Affleck.
ReplyDeleteI missed the "Talking Tina" episode, but I saw the Mickey Rooney one-man show as the crooked jockey. Great stuff...
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love The "Good" Damon. And I guess my friend 36 does...
I always like Matt more than Ben. And his movies are far better as well...
OMG that was great stuff...I always like Matt Damon
ReplyDeleteMatt even put in a plug for the Mets, who said that they're getting it done spending far less money than the Yankees.
