Words For Red Sox Nation

"The greatness comes not when things go always good for you, but the greatness comes and you are really tested, when you take some knocks, some disappointments, when sadness comes, because only if you have been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain."

--- President Richard M. Nixon, in his speech to his staff on the day of his resignation, August 9, 1974

  3. Fingers up in the victory sign, he sweatingly left office. With a 5 o'clock shadow. Just the same one but a few blades newer than the one he had in the Kennedy/Nixon debates. And with that backgound matching suit....case closed!

  4. I thought those were appropriate and profound words to keep up the morale of the troops at this time. Doesn't matter the source.

  5. Excellent words. If I didn't know the source, I would have guessed someone a tad less... sweaty.
