It was a big long day of baseball, hot dogs, sun and fun at Fenway.<BR/><BR/>I remember sitting out in the bleachers with a friend of mine and catching a twinbill against the then-one-or-two-year-old Kansas City Royals. The Sox beat up on them, we gorged ourselves on bad food, smoked a pack of cigarettes between us (we had both just started, it wasn't illegal to smoke in the park then, and the bleachers were far from full that day) and just generally had a ball. We laughed like loons when they introduced Amos Otis, who was in his first year.
