Trivia Q&A: July 2

I was pleasantly surprised to see a nicer turnout than the past weeks at The Mad Hatter on Tuesday, and it included one of my oldest friends, Renee, who brought out a number of friends to the bar. My thanks to Renee for such a nice surprise. (And a Happy Birthday to you on Wednesday!)

I did something tonight that I had never done before: all the answers for True or False Trivia were all "true." With that, no team got more than 7 correct (or five wrong). I had always wanted to do that. Thanks for indulging me, everyone!

The first place winners on the night were Better Late Than Never, who wound up winning the night with 44 points. Congrats to Pian, Charles and Jonathan on their win. Second place went to Tan Dori Girls (And One Boy) with 40 points, and third place went to After Telling Me To Shut Up The Bleep Up, Brian Cashman Cleared Me To Play Trivia (who also won Best Team Name) with 35 points.

Next week we move back to front part of the bar, so come in early and get a prime table at The Mad Hatter.

Australia has no landlocked countries, even if you include Oceania.

Actually, Noel, when I read the question last week, I said "not including Australia or Antarctica." Sorry I didn't include it in the wrapup.
